Peltier should be released. He was defending noncombatants from a federal ault on the rez.They came with guns and started shooting, just like the soldiers did to our ancestors. I feel bad for the families of those men, but, they came to Indian land to kill or die. They could have left them in peace, but they chose bloodshed. BIA, a govt. agency it means boss Indians around, said there was trouble in Indian country and they sent out the troops. Peltier was a scapegoat.
