Is Young Earth Creationist opposition to the Big Bang on vague biblical arguments similar to "rejection of....?

I will only say that science is (in my opinion) often looked at as the enemy of christianity. I think this is true because so many use the claim that science is why they do not believe. In fact the scriptures have validated science and geology in many ways. Science in itself is not evil, only what we do with it.
