Does this sound like a cute first day outfit?

I'm wearing a black screen tee from Charlotte Russe that says "Music is where my heart is", and there's like a pair of headphones, hearts, and music notes.( Sorry, no link!) I'm wearing jeans, and also low-rise black Chucks with pink tongues. I'm not sure what jewelry yet. I'm trying to look more edgy/punk than emo or anything...my style can range form uber-preppy (hollister/aero/ae) to sceneish (PacSun/ Roxy/ zumiez). Does this sounds cute?
