ISRAEL: Being threatened or threatening?

Iran, and Ahmadinejad, do not like Israel, and have committed to blowing them off the face of the earth. That's pretty potent Speech. Israel does have one of the best Air Forces in the world, as well as nuclear capabilities. Whether they have the full support and backing of the USA is debatable, at least in this administration. Israel fought for and gained their independence in 1948 against arab militias at the end of the British Mandate of Palestine. They expanded their territory again during the six day war in 1967. During the War of Attrition from 1968 to 1970, Egypt, along with the USSR and the PLO initiated fighting once again with Israel, trying unsuccessfully to recapture the Sinai.Egypt, Jordan and Syria, as well as Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Algeria, have kept Israel, the tiny little country, busy for the last 60 years, most of the time initiating hostilities against Israel first. So, cry babies? I don't think so. Even the killings at the Olympics in Munich in 1972 were aimed at Israel. So, who's threatening who??
