How do you upload videos onto youtube?

So whenever i click the upload on, and i try to upload one of my videos (its on a disc) onto it, i go to the disc file on the place where it says "browse," and i see like 5 different parts of the disc onto it... so how can i try just uploading the disc onto youtube? am i making any sense? if i'me not ill try rephrasing it
