Because there is no vaccine, so anyone and everyone can get it. There is no natural ammunity to the swine flu, so anyone coming into contact will get it. And it is a "mutated virus", which means that it is a bunch of viruses all wrapped up in one crazy, unpredictable illness that tends to kill those infected. Because it does, and they don't know what to do to stop it, they are getting the info out. Information is the best defense so far.
